The Street Dance Performance of Lambayok Festival, San Juan, Batangas.
San Juan, Batangas holds an annual event to showcase the three major sources of livelihood in the municipality -- lambanog, palayok-making, and the growingresort sector. Held in the second week of December, the festival promotes creativity, ingenuity, and hard work among the townsfolk.m The core theme revolves around lambanog as the poor man's drink, and hiow it is distilled from the abundant coconut found in the area. Clay pottery has also been around since the 1900s in barangays Libato and Palahan, while Laiya spearheads the growing resort industry. Merging these with the people's devotion to San Juan Nepomuceno, the Batangueno will surely say -- "Visit San Juan, ala-eh Batangas Naman" through the Lambayok festival!
