READ PLEASEEEE.

Well I have owned this amazing mare for about 4months now, and I have to she has changed me. We didn't get off to a very good start at all, and were'nt seeing eye to eye. When things went from bad to worse I cried to my yard owner (Sue Franks) and she said "The problem is simple. You do to much telling, forget the competitions, schooling and pressure on your self to do well, and just listen." I had no idea what she meant, but I do now!...

We are still far from perfect but I understand her and she understands me. I listen to her, and straight away when i get out the car and look at her... some how I just know how she is feeling... I really don't know what I would do without this mare in my life, saying I love her is an understatment.

Also some of you have asked why am I not using a whip/crop, as most natural horsemanship people do? - The reason is I feel that a crop is not needed, if you have a bond with a horse, you don't need a crop, you can use your own hands and body position. I feel that the crop then when riding confusses the horse when it is there as a persyation and the horse with think it's tricktraining time, when it's not.
Thanks for reading x
