CorRales Dupree knows that life requires us to adapt. Obstacles - in his case, significant trauma and the results of it - force us to adapt and change in order to survive. In this talk, CorRales shares his experience surviving a near-death experience as a result of domestic violence, overcoming the most difficult obstacles and not just adapting, but finding a new purpose.
CorRales Dupree is a sophomore in college and a student athlete; ironically, he almost lost his life during his sophomore year of high school. He enjoys playing sports, training clients as a wellness coach at the YMCA and doing volunteer work around his community and the country.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
