A glimpse of what looking after a locomotive is all about! Bruce Hayward and Roger Molesworth of the Cotswold Steam Preservation group prepare their loco No 2807 for the following day's work. They chat with fireman Ben Evason while Director and Company Director Geoff Adlington is getting hot and dirty inside the firebox replacing burnt firebars so that the fire can be lit. They discuss membership of the group, the trip for shareholders on Sunday and raising money to keep 2807 steaming. Roger has also lit a warming fire in 45160, the Turkish 8F, that will also be in action the following day.

The 'boot scrapers' discussed are made of old rail chairs with brushes attached and can be bought from the GWSR shop at Winchcombe or from the 2807 group.
