Maranatha Christian School is situated in a semi-rural
setting in the Western Hills of Lower Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand. The school is only a ten minute drive from Lower Hutt city.
Maranatha is a co-educational Christian school with
up to 160 children from Years 1--8, drawn from a
number of churches throughout the region.
A bus service is contracted to transport students
to and from school, while a school van is used for
group activities.
As a state-integrated school, we use a Christian
curriculum, based on the New Zealand Curriculum.
We operate on a combination of Ministry of Education
funding, school fees and donations, providing quality
Christian education.
