This is the Kyrie Eleison, or Lord Have Mercy, from my original Mass setting, the Mass of Annunciation. It is anticipatory, awaiting the majesty of the Gloria which follows it in the Liturgy of the Mass. This mass setting proclaims, or announces, the light of Christ come into the world, which casts out all darkness, all fear, all anxiety. He is our Joy and Peace.

You can find the sheet music at http://www.scribd.com/doc/38705196/Ky.... All are welcome to use this in their parishes. Please let me know what you think.

The Mass of Annunciation was composed in light of the changes that will come in the new Roman Missal in 2011. I invite you to consider using this mass setting. All the music in this setting is in line with the new responses outlined by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

God bless you and all glory to God.
