Sonic 1 Extended Edition - Dec 2006

Footage of my rom hack, Sonic 1 Extended Edition. Shown in this video are some more up to date features than a previous video, and I thought I'd put it up myself this time. :P

Added features include: Intro entrance level for choosing a saved game, zone maps, save posts within levels, a centisecond counter, negative rings and negative chaos emeralds with their own special stages, day/night time change, Sonic CD animations, and added to the end are extra unlockables for spindash and super peel-out. (How are they unlockable? Not telling. :P)

Things not shown in this include Super Sonic and additional variations, and zones other than Green Hill. (Marble Zone is partially complete at this point.)

Do note, Green Hill is being used for a lot of different testings, and as such things will look out of place (the purple rock is garbage due to testing of a new badnik.) Ring monitors give 100 rings in this for testing, but will only give 10 rings in the final.

This video also shows off my hideous special stage playing skills, as I lose quite badly in the second special stage. :x
