Patrick Slade discusses how any student can apply what they learn in school to see real change in the world and shares his journey to advance prosthetics technology and impact lives across the globe.
Patrick is a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that develops advanced prosthetic hands for low-cost. He co-founded PSYONIC to get prostheses to patients around the globe and was named one of Forbes 30 under 30 in Healthcare this year.
