I found a nice idea from a site for my PC mod. It is a HDD IDE indicator with 12 LEDs, controlled from a PIC16LF1939 from 12 individual PWM channels. Since this PIC has only 4 PWM channels, i had to make software PWM instead. With short interrupt routine and a rather small assembly listing i managed to achieve (easily) 1.1KHz PWM frequency with 255 steps duty cycle.
