The EU-funded project CommONEnergy will turn highly energy consuming shopping centres into temples of energy conservation. It gathers 23 partners representing various industry stakeholders, as well as research and academia from ten European countries. The project partners developed the economic assessment tool, allowing estimation of the energy saving potential and economic benefits of retrofitting shopping centers. The tool targets managers and owners and provides quick information on the energy consumption and options to reduce energy demand, CO2-emissions, environmental impacts and provides an economic assessment of the investments. The tool is available at this link: http://eeg.tuwien.ac.at/commonenergy_...
