March 8th was International Women's Day; a day when the world takes note of the achievements of women around the world. And yet, even in 2016, women around the world still face obstacles that many of us often take for granted. One organizations is trying to break down gender-based barriers, by giving girls in Kenya the opportunity to get an education. VOA correspondent Julie Taboh found out how the Maasai Girls Education Fund is changing the lives of young women, one village and one family at a time.
