This video was made by six Upper One Appleby Students doing research for Relay for Life (hosted at Appleby College- June1 and 2, 2012). They interviewed two different medical doctors, Dr. Nora Curran-Blaney (a family doctor)and Dr. Miles Kealey (a surgeon). They learned how doctors tell someone they have cancer, how medicine has advanced to the stage where cancer is no longer a "death sentence" and what they hope to improve in the health care system. The video was given to the school's Special Ops/Film Co-Curricular to edit and contextualize.
