Before a patient makes a decision to start orthodontic treatment the doctor needs to inform the patient of treatment alternatives and any known problems that may arise during the course of treatment.This enables the patient to give informed consent to the doctor to proceed with treatment.This section is for patients to discover the benefits and problems associated with non extraction orthodontics.

Why do teeth Relapse? * If we move the teeth or change the shape and size of the jaw then we need to change the muscle function to match. * If we fail to change the function then the muscles will put the teeth and jaws back towards where they started. * This process is called relapse.
