A bold break-in at an Asheville computer store nets thieves close to $100,000 worth of merchandise. Their well-planned heist is all caught on camera.

The robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday when a sledge hammer shattered the glass on the front door of the CityMac franchise on Biltmore Avenue. Three men wearing hoodies and masks rushed-in carrying large, plastic containers. They went straight for the back of the store and to the shelves stacked with brand new Apple computer-hardware still in the boxes.
The owner of the store says they knew what they wanted and how to get it out in a hurry.

stockroom was pretty much emptied out. All iPads, laptops, demo-units. I
mean, took it within probably less than 2 minutes," said Jim Neu.
Even though surveillance cameras did a great job of capturing all these images of the thieves in action, the fact that they did such a good job of covering their identities makes this a tough case to crack.

If you have any information in the case, call Crime Stoppers at (828) 255-5050.
