http://www.autobytel.com Autobytel's Editor-in-Chief Michelle Naranjo caught up with Hagerty PR Manager Jonathan Klinger at the 2012 Concours d'LeMons in Monterey, CA. While classic car week in Monterey tends to focus on pristine collectibles and million dollar trailer queens, the Concours d'LeMons is all about celebrating daily drivers. With everything from a three wheeled Reliant Robin to a trio of colorful Bugeye Sprites and even a rusted out Porsche 912; the Hagerty Concours d'LeMons is as far from the lawn at Pebble Beach as one can get.
As part of the Concours d'LeMons, Hagerty names America's Sweetest Lemon (in this case an aptly named bright yellow Subaru 360) as well as put on the Tour of LeMons. Surprisingly enough, not only did every car that started the Tour make it back in working order, but they even managed to gain a few along the way; which led to quite an impromptu car show.
