Open EFSA – engaging society in food safety

The work of public bodies, particularly those safeguarding public health, should be as accessible and transparent as possible, says EFSA’s Executive Director, Bernhard Url, in this video explaining his vision for “Open EFSA”. EFSA continuously works to improve access to its data and increase understanding of its scientific processes. But it wants to go further and engage more with people who can contribute to its pool of scientific knowledge, or bring fresh approaches and insights to its work.
