This is how to display how much oil in remaining in a Chevy or GMC truck. This will work with most all current model Chevy or GM trucks. Be sure that the truck is not in motion, otherwise the oil percentage remaining will not display. While the truck is stopped, simply push the tripometer button on the dash. This is the same button that you push each time that you gas up to reset the mileage to zero. After pushing it a few times, you should eventually get to an oil percentage remaining display. I'm not sure but I think that most Chevy or GMC dealerships will not change your oil until it hits 20%. Thanks for watching this video and please feel free to share this video with others! I have a basic 2012 Chevy Silverado work truck without carpet and this technique worked on mine. I'm assuming that it should work for most all GMC and Chevy trucks of recent year model!
