Batu Kawan, Penang - More 100,000 supporters flood the Batu Kawan Stadium located about 10 km from the Penang Bridge to listen to Pakatan Rakyat leaders. Thousands dressed in black and carrying placards make their way from Bukit Tambun toll which is 5 km from the stadium. It also create very heavy traffic on the highway leading to the said toll booth.
Held three days after 120,000 people showed up for a similar rally in Kuala Lumpur, Penang drew an equally large crowd, who were joined by those from two neighbouring states - Kedah and Perak.
Participants from Kedah, Selangor and Negri Sembilan as well, who waved their state flags incessantly amidst Pakatan's rocket (DAP), moon (PAS) and eye (PKR) symbols.
Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Guan Eng and Mat Sabu are among the speakers.
