Connecting Communities in Malaysia - Starbucks is committed to empowering local Malaysian communities

To celebrate 15 years in Malaysia, Starbucks aims to change lives in communities across the nation.

Starbucks first destination is Kampung Lubuk Jaya, a rural village located in the outskirts of Kuala Selangor. This village consists of 50 families and spans over 500 acres of land, with 90% dedicated to agriculture.

Bananas are their main crop, and Starbucks sources these fresh bananas for the delicious new range of food products retailing at all Starbucks stores nationwide.

We aim to raise RM100,000 to build a computer centre to connect this community's children to a world of education and opportunities.
