ゲイとして日本で生きること Being Gay in Japan

Gay in Japan. 日本のニュースでゲイの話は聞かなかったし、日本人の友達と話したら、ほとんどの人はゲイのことをあまり知らなくって、「ゲイの人は怖い」ってよく言われたから、ゲイとして日本で生きることを知りたかった。
I wanted to know what it was like to be gay in Japan because I never heard anything about gay issues in Japan. When I spoke to my straight Japanese friends about gay people, I realized most of them had a deep misunderstanding about what it meant to be gay and were often afraid of them.
