In his quieter moments, Elliot Zanderflex has always revealed his shortcomings to women, in the hopes that they'll recognize his bleeding-heart honesty and reassure him that he is worthy of love despite his failings as a person. In his louder moments, he can be found drunkenly humping drywall in an abandoned parking garage, blasting the live version of Def Leppard's "Photograph" from a 2004 flip phone speaker.

I can hear everything they're saying, and I was born in an English-speaking country.

Trust me, even if you did hear what they said it still wouldn't make sense
The Def Leppard reference makes this my favorite video description so far.
I can't tell if he's saying "because I get inside" or "becasue I'm dead inside".
See more movies and TV shows without subtitles and you'll learn eventually. I'm swede and have no probs, but then I have read and listened to english without subbs for 6+ years now

I feel like this is an inside joke that I'm not getting
I have no idea what just happened (not sure if I want to).
