UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio (Angenette Levy) -- Another round of snow didn't seem to stop people from going out to celebrate Valentine's Day.Julie Brewer, 9, spent the evening with her dad as he plowed parking lots in Union Township, Clermont County. Julie is sick of the snow.Very boring...this year we got a lot of it and I've been snowplowing, Brewer said. State Route 32 in Clermont County was covered in snow. It seemed to improve only slightly as Local 12 drove into Hamilton County. Traffic moved slowly and the weather nearly stopped some people from going out. I thought about it. I actually had plans but my friend had to cancel because she couldn't make it down, Cora Miracle said. Miracle went to dinner with her family at Longhorn Steakhouse in Norwood and she wasn't alone. The restaurant was full and the lobby was full of people waiting of a table. We just wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day. I didn't think a lot of people would still be out because of the weather but they said a 30-40 minute wait, Trina Harris said. Mother Nature set up an epic battle with Cupid this Valentine's Day. Thankfully for restaurants and romantics, Cupid won. Given the weather conditions, it's been really amazing. I think it's a really nice comment to the resiliency of the people of this area that they're fed up with winter and they're going to go out and spend the night with the sweetie on Valentine's Day anyway. We've been very busy ever since about 4 o'clock, said Jerry Cavanaugh, manager of Longhorn's Steakhouse.
