Comparison of computation capabilities of cheap Arduino clone ($1.5) and generic STM32 clone ($2.2). It's time to switch to STM32!
Details:
- 2.2" LCD display based on ILI9341 driver
- resolution 320x240, 16-bit RGB, 24-bit calculated
- 1 pass only, no antialiasing (to avoid long boring video)
- Arduino on ATMEGA328 @ 16 MHz
- STM32 on STM32F103C8T6 @ 72MHz
- even on slow ATMEGA328 entire scene renders faster than on my Amiga 500/2000 20+ years ago :)
