A channel 2 report on Saadia- a revealing movie that was found lately in the cellars of the Israeli army archives.
The film originated in 1951 is describing the "absorption of immigrants" in the young state of Israel. It provides a closer look to how racist delegitimization of the oriental culture seemed perfectly natural back then, and how the colonial relationships between zionism and oriental jews was shaped.

Info published by Jacob Gross after publishing the report:
Zacharia Shalom, son of Hasan and Nur (who played Saadia) was born on April 5th, 1937 in the city of Al Bida, Yemen. Died on the second day of the six-day war, June 6th, 1967, Leaving behind wife, daughter and son. RIP
