These snakes are so hard to tell apart. This is not a Malayan Krait (Blue Krait), and to me it definitely does not look like the Laotian Wolf Snake. It must be the Malayan Banded Wolf Snake - Lycodon subcinctus. When they are young, they have the white bands, which disappear as they get older. The bands on this black and white snake are very solid, very well defined... and maybe because it's a juvenile - I just cannot tell. It is not a multi-banded or many-banded Krait (Bungarus multicinctus). Anybody want to tell me what it is?
