While staying in the Salisbury / Spencer area we decided to take a trip up to Lexington. There I found a CSX local working the interchange with Norfolk Southern.
The CSX division maps for the Florence Division lists this line as joint CSX / NS. On the Monroe Sub timetable it is listed as WSSB north from Wadesboro, NC. From what I could find out is that the Winston-Salem Southbound (WSSB) is a shortline railroad jointly owned by CSX and NS and they provide the railroad with equipment. So this brings up the question. Is this a WSSB train or a CSX train?
