Chassis is custom folded sheet metal base plate. Motors are standard Tetrix motors with Tetrix 3" omni wheels attached. Each wheel has an encoder attached to it. Closed loop control on wheels provided by RobotC VPID functions. There is currently no gyro on board to hold heading or provide field centric controls.
It actually holds heading a lot better than it appears in the video, there is currently no deadband in the stick that controls rotation so there is a bit of drift. All turns are currently being done at 50% speed.
