Chanel Blusher Joues Contraste Powder Blush:

The touch of colour and radiance.

Offers effects from very natural to very sophisticated. Used as a simple touch of colour, it gives your complexion a healthy glow. As a professional tool, it shapes and models your face (cheekbones, browbones, forehead, chin, along the nose).

Manufactured by a process exclusive to CHANEL, the compact and silky texture of JOUES CONTRASTE gives easy application and subtle blending. The brush is made of natural hair.

Highlighting your cheekbones enhances the youthful appearance of your face. For the eye zone, choose a satiny tone to soften and rejuvenate this area.

Bourjois Blusher:

With the widest range of the market, Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush is our iconic and timeless product since 1863.
Bourjois Little Round Pot blush was the first ever dry powder making make-up accessible to all women everyday in the 19th century.
Discover our application advices and make-up tips to get the cheeks that will add the finishing touch to your fashion statement whatever your skin tone!

2.5g in the UK.

Interesting Fact:

Bourjois is a French cosmetics brand founded in 1863 by Monsieur Alexandre Napoleon Bourjois, with the invention of the first powder blush, Pastel Joues.
In 1924 Coco Chanel approached Pierre Wertheimer, the then owner of Bourjois, to help a her create Parfums Chanel. Bourjois and the Wertheimer familly own and control all of the Chanel business.

Blush is so important in makeup. It brightens the face. It adds colour and shine. It highlights the face like no other makeup. I adore blush.

16 rose coup de foudre is the blush i was showing here.

I've been using Bourjois blush in Rose Frisson (54) as my go-to, everyday blush for almost seven years now, that shade took me through college, work and more, have been using Bourjois foundations for even longer (8 years)...but as much as I love their blushers, I wish Bourjois would be more adventurous with their shades! the range of shades available is so boring and limited, also not very pigmented (I don't mind, for an everyday look, I'd rather my blush be sheer and buildable than too pigmented). With Chanel, I love me some of their LE blushes...like Rouge for eg., a rich, glowy raspberry red! reminds me of rudolph's nose, and so gorgeous, extremely pigmented, and works surprisingly well on my light-medium skintone...anyway Milani is another great cheap brand that offers more interesting and exciting shades for their blushers. NYX too. And Colorpop ofcourse. Unfortunately those 3 brands aren't even available in my country.

Completely agree! I have a few of the boujoise ones and they are so beautiful and pigmented.

I've had my make up done by a m.a.c artist who used to work for Chanel , she told me Chanel and Bourjois are the same product . I was quite skeptical so decided to ask a few of the ladies from the Chanel counter when buying my lipstick if this is true . All 3 giggly women said yes it pretty much was . My point is that when Chanel artists them selves are saying it to people , whether it be true or not word is going to spread quickly . I don't think the ingredients would be exactly the same but like i say when a Chanel employee is telling you it is , it's hard to believe otherwise . All very confusing

Chanel have creme blushers and a powder compact foundation would you be able to do a review on then please. and i guess i'm quite lucky because my sister works for Chanel and she gets allocation so every 3 months she gets 75% off and she is able to get me things for cheap so i think id rather get eight Chane blushes ;)

Chanel and Bourjouis are atually made in the same factory and are basically almost the same products. Now, what u are paying when u are buying the Chanel products, is the more luxurious packaging the Brand,of course, and the luxury that it may offer to the woman who is buying a Chanel product. A lot of women cannot afford a chanel bag so they feel that by purchasing a chanel lipstick or blusher they are a part of the women who can afford expensive things. Thats what i know :)

Little fact: Bourjois were the first company to produce "baked" powders. Their eyeshadows have been made this way since 1863. #trailblazers

This is an old video so you probably won't see it but I can't take the smell of the Chanel blushes. Not crazy about the smell of Bourgeois either, but it's better than the Chanel. And I'm a person who really doesn't mind the odor in makeup.
