In this non-conference matchup at the Brice Alaska Goal Rush, the Colorado College Tigers and the University of Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves traded goals until CC's Andrew Hamburg scored the game-winner midway through the second period on a power play. UAA-killer and Anchorage native William Rapuzzi opened the scoring for the Tigers, who also got goals from Tim Hall (even-strength) and Tyler Johnson (power play/extra attacker). Freshman Josh Thorimbert (or Thorimberg, according the the UAA announcer) got the win in goal for CC. Scoring for the Seawolves were Mitch Bruijsten, Curtis Leinweber, and Jordan Kwas (ppg).
