An exclusive performance / Q+A with the legendary Grammy and Academy Award-winning songwriter! Joined by Boston Globe Arts Editor Rebecca Ostriker, Richard Sherman recounts his early days as a songwriter, his lifelong collaboration with his brother (Robert B. Sherman), working with Walt Disney, and, of course, the stories behind many of the musical masterpieces we know and love today. He will delight with renditions of his most well-known melodies, from Mary Poppins classics such as "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," to Jungle Book favorites such as "I Wanna Be Like You."

The Huntington's ravishing new musical production of THE JUNGLE BOOK, directed and adapted by Mary Zimmerman, plays Sept. 8 - Oct. 20, 2013 at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre. Learn more at huntingtontheatre.org/junglebook
