Land Rover 101 Forward Control

This very rare Land Rover was originally designed for the British Army and never sold to the public.

The wheelbase of this vehicle is 101 inch (2565 mm), this is where it has got its name from. Forward Control derived from the position of the driver.

The engine, the gear box, the center differential and some of the mechanicals are shared with the Classic Range Rover which just started going into production at the time.
