BUG device, from Bug Labs ( http://www.buglabs.net ) is a fully programmable Open Source Linux based computer, equipped with built-in wireless connection (WiFi). It also has many features, like built-in rechargeable battery, USB ports, Ethernet port and button controls (on side panel).

But best thing is, that the device can be equipped with variety of small independent modules, so called "BUGmodules", or BUGs, including full color touchscreen LCDs, cameras, accelerometers, GPSs and motion sensors and many more. Plus, BUGmodules can be freely improved (or "hacked") for special purposes and needs. The base, or "BUGbase", also features tripod mount, so it can be safely mounted to any solid support.

If you want to see this modular computer on your own eyes, Bug Labs is exhibiting at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas between January 6th through 10th.
