Don’t miss a riveting interview of activist Cecile Richards on Sunday’s “Freethought Matters.” Richards, who’s twice appeared on TIME magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World, is a national leader for women’s rights and social and economic justice. As president of Planned Parenthood for more than a decade, Cecile Richards has worked to increase affordable access to reproductive health care. She is author of the New York Times bestseller Make Trouble.

Cecile reminisces about her famous mother, Texas Gov. Ann Richards, and discusses what’s at stake for reproductive rights. Cecile Richards received the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s new “Forward” Award in 2018, which recognizes individuals who are moving society forward. She was interviewed for the show on-site during FFRF’s 41st national convention by FFRF Co-Presidents Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor.
