In 1997, through a friend of a friend of our guitar player, my band from Regina, Saskatchewan called Mrs. Svenson managed to get two of our songs on an ABC movie of the week called "Unwed Father" staring Brian Austin Green. It seems that not only could these movie executives pay us cheaper than any local band in their area, but it also turns out that we were better than most of the rock bands in Los Angeles at the time, according to several people we talked to. At one point they wanted to fly us down there to play the opening song for real, but it was just cheaper to get actors to play air-guitar and to lip-sync. I forget how much they paid us. It wasn't much.
