Iver Johnson Eagle .45 Malfunction description: The grip safety is useless, the hammer drops without pressing the safety, if well the gun is not unsafe because of this, it sucks that it is there but does not work.
How it all started: it was working fine at the range, put 70 rounds through it without an issue, back at home i took it apart (just the slide) for cleaning, put it back together and the grip safety was sudently not working, i had touched nothing of the internals in the frame, then decided to go for a full strip to find what the problem was, bent the right finger to put more pressure on the grip safety and it worked as intended, this video shows the gun as is after i did so, curiously if i push the beaver tail up, thumb safety disengaged and hammer back, then press the trigger, the hammer does NOT drop, this is getting on my nerves, i will have to take it back to where i bought it if i can't figure a way to fix this.
By the way, this gun is brand new and those are the only 70 rounds i've used on it.
