It is important to appreciate that B&K Universal make claims that Beagle experiments help human medicine on their actual planning application. These claims are addressed in this BBC interview with leading medical doctor Ray Greek, who illustrates the scientific evidence for the Parliamentary campaign FLOE, the representatives of the Locals in Hull against B&K Universal's plans to breed Beagles for vivisection experiments.

Pro vivisection Tom Holder, from Speaking of Research, was also interviewed on this programme after Dr Greek. Tom Holder's interview can be accessed in the excellent blog written by Dr Greek, addressing Holder's claims that experiments on Beagle dogs help human medicine: http://www.opposingviews.com/i/societ...

Ray Greek MD is the world's leading medical expert against the misapplication of veterinary principles - obtained from animal experiments - to human medicine. Dr Greek is co-author of 5 books to date, culminating in the seminal work Animal Models in Light of Evolution (2009) Shanks PhD and Greek MD. There is a layman's version of this book entitled FAQS about the Use of Animals in Science, please visit this link to buy the book http://www.amazon.com/FAQs-About-Anim...

In 2003, as chief scientific witness for a Cambridge Coalition, Ray Greek MD's 5 hour oral witness testimony and written proof of evidence produced an international precedent ruling. This ruling stopped a new non-human primate laboratory being built at Cambridge University, on human, medical and scientific "national interest grounds".
