Here Gondry creates scenes of photograph-ads for Fiat, then transitions from one scene to the next. The first beach scene becomes a billboard in the second scene, which becomes a bus billboard in the third, then a photograph, then a newspaper ad, finally a postcard. Each scene was carefully choreographed, with lots of activities occurring in each. And as per Gondry's style, there is some interaction between scenes. For example, a kid in the bus billboard throws a snowball outside of his picture, which splats on a pedestrian's back. Or this: A woman blows on a Fiat postcard, causing pigeons to fly from postcard to postcard.
