When I began this series I intended to promote discussion on the issues of;
1. why do people (want to) believe conspiracy theories? and
2. is there a connection in the psychological make-up of a conspiracy theorist and a creationist?
Unfortunately the discussion and comments have tended towards whether there is validity in the 9/11 conspiracy theory.
My views on that issue are these. In the same way that I cannot say definitively that there is no god, I cannot say that there was not a (government involved) conspiracy behind 9/11. But, if you are going to try and persuade me of a god, you will need better evidence. Similarly, if you are going to convince me of a 9/11 conspiracy, you will need better evidence.
I fail to see how any of the disparate and desperate "facts" relied on by 9/11 truthers can support any conclusion other than the theorists are deliberately lying; deliberately distorting evidence and/or are willfully ignorant.
I do not intend to make any more videos about 9/11. There are many sites that deal with the issues much better than I do. Links to the ones I have found usefully appear below.
Also, I will not respond to any messages which raise questions that are answered in the links provided or which are unsourced or unverifiable.
