Am I the only human being who enjoyed the ending to Mass Effect 3? The standard ending was not bad, just not as amazing as we were all hoping for. If anyone says that the extended cut still isn't good enough, then I say that they are a fool.

I know the ending was bad, but I can't stop going back. The Mass Effect franchise is in my top 5 favorite series of all time. It'll take a lot more than a lackluster ending to ruin it for me.  People look too far into it. To me, I faced down a reaper army, and in the end, sacrificed myself to save the galaxy. I live on as a hero to all who hear my name. I redeemed the Krogan, allied the warring Geth and Quarians and lead the dying Batarians to victory at Earth. I would've loved a more personal ending, but it isn't what we got. And honestly I think the extended cut did enough justice to satisfy some gripes. I participated in a fantastic story, and I'm happy of the outcome.

Am I the only one who listens to a Miracle of Sound song before playing a certain game to get into the proper mood? Like I always listen to Nord Mead and Sovngarde Song before playing Skyrim.

Man, Mass Effect 3 could have been so much more, instead it's just a black mark and a burning hole in my heart. I loved the series, and got burned at the last possible moment in the worst way possible, a cheap ending with no real choice, at all.

This is quite seriously one my favourites of your songs, I'm not sure if I'm in the minority with that judgement

I really don't like how most of the things Illusive Man wants you to do are seen as the "wrong" choice in the Mass Effect games. While I wanted him dead, I do agree with his thinking that the tech in the Collector base would be vital to the war effort. Even the "Control" ending for Mass Effect 3 I thought would be one of the better endings. The Reapers would never attack the galaxy again, and if a new attacker comes along, they'll be blown apart by giant space cuttlefish.

There are two different Mass Effect fans. Those who play it like an RPG, and those that play it like a 3rd person shooter. The ending was horrible for the RPG side of the fandom. And the other side just doesn't understand.
