An unnamed US soldier has killed 16 defenseless civilians, most of them children, in Afghanistan.
"The occupation forces and the politicians who sent them there make a big deal of the so-called democracy they put in place in Afghanistan but in the democracy you would expect that the perpetrators of such a crime would be named ..." Says George Galloway.
"[However] the US forces in the Washington regime have attempted to shroud the killer's identity," Galloway adds.
Meanwhile, the US is so confident in Afghan democracy and its judiciary that it quickly and quietly flew the soldier out of the country.
The incident prompted Afghan President Hamid Karzai to ask that US troops no longer patrol villages and rural areas and leave it to the Afghan army.
Does anyone really believe that Barack Obama or his successor is ever going to be able to say "mission accomplished in Afghanistan?"
