In this session, we go into the canter. We are using the neck strap so that Susan Faulkner Evans can feel when her riding position is in the right place for a half halt to re balance Beau mentally and physically. Most riders are not aware of where they need to be to be able to use their positions to connect with a horse at the canter and this awareness exercise really let's them know. At first Beau's canter is strung out and disconnected. As Susan becomes more aware of where her seat needs to be for a half halt Beau begins to carry himself better. They are doing this on a loose rein.
