Our male Northern Pine Snakes at the Museum of Life and Science are part of a Pine Snake breeding program with females from the Dan Nicholas Park in Salisbury, NC. Back in January the female laid 10 eggs of which 9 were viable. On July 19th, their due date, we set up our GoPro to take a timelapse of the hatchlings. It took 48 hours for 8 of the 9 hatchling pine snakes to emerge. One snake never hatched.
