Culture of Care is an initiative that aims to empower students to support their peers. Through the education of bystander intervention to IU Bloomington students, we hope to create a campus culture that supports and welcomes each and every person. Our main focus areas include Mental Health, Sexual Wellbeing, Respect, and Drug and Alcohol Awareness. Culture of Care is working towards creating awareness in all of these areas to bring behavioral change and culture shift to create a community in which students represent "Hoosier-to-Hoosier care" for one another.

Produced by the Division of Student Affairs Media team of Indiana University, "The Bystanders" is a video to promote and encourage engagement in a situation that could be harmful to others. "The Bystanders" focuses on actors who are planted in a situation to draw attention to one of the following situations: Mental distress, biased based incident, drug abuse, and harmful antagonist. We want you to answer the question "what will you do?" You too can step-up like bystanders who step-up in this video by intervening when someone may need help.
