About the Award (Wikipedia)
In December 1995, the radio program Golden Gramophone, then called Russkaya Gorka, began broadcasting on Russian Radio. She represented 12 songs that were most often ordered on the air of the radio station itself with the help of calls, letters and paging services (SMS-portal at the radio station appeared in 2004). The presenter of the program was Gleb Deev.

Since February 20, 1999 the Golden Gramophone has started a new stage. It was on that day that Russkaya Gorka ceased to exist and the hit parade Golden Gramophone started. Unlike the program "Russian Hill", which represented the 12 best songs of the week, the "Golden Gramophone" decided to determine the top 20. The first presenter of the program was Gleb Deev, he was helped by Alexei Kortnev and Valdis Pelsh. From 2000 to 2001, the program was conducted by Boris Korablev (at this time Andrei Chizhov had a parody program called "Golden Toilet"). From 2001 to 2002 the program was conducted by Andrey Chizhov. From 2002 to 2005 Alexander Karlov became the host of the program. From 2005 to 2007, the program was conducted by Alla Dovlatova, she was assisted by Andrey Malakhov, and after Sergei Zverev. From 2007 to 2015 the program was conducted by Roman Emelianov. [2] He was replaced by: Philip Kirkorov, Alexei Chumakov, Vadim Voronov and Alisa Selezneva, Vadim Danilin and Bella Ogurtsova, Dmitry Olenin,

From September 11 to November 13, 2015 leading was Ivan Suvorov, who conducted historical issues of the Golden Gramophone. Since November 20, 2015, the hit parade is led by Alyona Borodin.

In order to receive a prize, the artist's song must last for 20 or more weeks in the top sheet. The names of the laureates are announced at the ceremony itself, after they were chosen under the influence of the listeners of "Russian Radio". Gramophones are awarded each year in Moscow, the State Kremlin Palace, and in St. Petersburg a day later, in the Ice Palace. Artists are awarded by representatives of various professions - people from television, actors of theater or cinema, representatives of political circles, etc. During the existence of the award, the term "award" appeared, which denotes those people who award artists with "gramophones".

In 2003, with the advent of Internet voting, the owners of statuettes in addition to the listeners of the "Russian Radio", could determine and viewers of the "First Channel". So, from August 8, 2003 to December 2, 2005, there was a television interactive hit parade on the air "Golden Gramophone on the First".

During the award, it is broadcast simultaneously on the air of "Russian Radio" and on the official website of the radio station. The TV version of the prize is published annually on the "First Channel" before the New Year holidays. Repeats also appeared on REN TV, Fifth Channel, TV3 and MTV.

Some artists, such as: Alla Pugacheva, Philip Kirkorov, Ivanushki International, Grigory Leps, Glukoza, Irina Toneva, Ani Lorak, Moth received two figurines a year.

The only artist who received two statuettes for two years in a row is Grigory Leps.

In each ceremony participated at least one debutant.
