For more info, visit http://www.bio-rad.com/yt/2/QX100-Dro.... Bio-Rad's state-of the-art Droplet Digital PCR system allows you to quantify target DNA with unrivaled precision by partitioning samples into 20,000 nanoliter-sized droplets. After PCR on a thermal cycler, droplets from each sample are streamed in single file in the QX100 droplet reader. The PCR-positive and PCR-negative droplets are counted to provide absolute quantification of target DNA in digital form.
Conventional real-time PCR can be used to measure only relative amounts of target DNA, whereas the QX100 ddPCR system allows for absolute quantitation of:
• Gene expression • Copy number variation • The detection of rare sequences or mutations • miRNA analysis • Next-generation sequencing sample quantification
