Bekir Kaplan, MD, is a post-doctoral research fellow with the Institute for Global Tobacco Control at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research at the school focuses on secondhand smoke and legislation in Turkey and the effects of toxins from waterpipe (also known as hookah) smoke in real-world settings. This lecture was a part of the Innovations in Global Tobacco Control seminar series.
