The people of Ngāti Hinerangi Iwi finally get a chance to speak directly to the Crown about the injustices they have suffered at the hands of the New Zealand Government. It was an emotional day during which people over four generations told their story of hardship, racism, bullying, the stealing of land and ignorance toward their culture as they work with the Crown to gain an official apology and a Treaty of Waitangi settlement.
