Hold Up Squad

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance identifying a man classified as a
suspect and a second man, classified as a person of interest, in a bank robbery investigation.
It is reported that:

− on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 6:35 p.m. an armed man, wearing a Halloween mask, walked
into a bank in the Kennedy Road/Steeles Avenue East area

− the man pointed a gun at two tellers, handed over a black duffle bag and demanded money
− the man pointed the gun to the ceiling and fired a single shot

− the man fled the scene with a quantity of money in a green, older Nissan vehicle

The suspect is described as white, 5'5"−5'9". He was last seen wearing a Halloween mask,
large, black−framed−glasses, a black coat and black pants.

It is further reported that:

− on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 12:12 p.m., a man went to a car wash in the Warden
Avenue/Danforth Road area

− the man deposited marked bank bills into a coin dispenser machine

Police believe this incident is related to the bank robbery.
