This is a short winter film and my first serious video project of 2013. At first I was hesitant to upload as I was not satisfied with the endproduct (it's simply never perfect) but after almost a year I decided to not just let it be on some harddisk and share it with the public. Everybody has to start somewhere and in the beginning that means basic equipment and limited knowledge. However, I did not go for nothing into the harsh arctic winter trying my luck whilst filming in -30 degrees Celsius with a 'simple' Canon T2i/550D.
Feel free to add to my experience by giving constructive feedback (both positive and negative are welcome) as it contributes to at least half of my development of further filming skills.
In the credits you will find the shooting locations, National Parks that are included in the film and the people who helped me out on the trip of a lifetime; 3,5 weeks from north-east Finland to north-west Finland (Kuusamo-Ruka-Posio-Rovaniemi-Pyhä-Luosto-Kittilä-Levi-Ylläsjärvi-Äkäslompolo-Enontekiö) with camera, tripod and slider and a bucket full of condifence.
