http://www.FacebookSubscribeButton.com/ The facebook subscribe button is Facebook's latest feature which allows you to follow and subscribe to other user's public news feed, regardless if you are not their friend or not. If the user enables the facebook subscribe button, they are allowing non friends (facebook subscribers) to get updates on what they are doing via their PUBLIC news feed.

The new website i've launched to get you 1000's of Facebook followers and subscribers for free is called http://www.Follow4Follow.com

To activate your facebook subscribe button go to http://www.facebook.com/about/subscribe

On the 14th September 2011 Facebook released their latest feature 'The subscribe button'

The new subscription option is part of Facebook's effort to allow users more control over their account and news feed. It is also a direct attempt to compete with Goggle + and Twitter's public news feed, style interaction. In the similar way Twitter shows the total number of followers an account has, Facebook also now shows users now many subscribers they have and how many people they have subscribed to.

Is it worth Activating?
In my opinion YES, this is a fantastic new feature because public Facebook posts have now become a very effective tool if you are trying to gain an audience. If for example you own a business, or you are trying to promote your band etc, you can build up a following via the subscribe tool and not hit the annoying Facebook friend request limit which was recently imposed. If like myself you have 5,000 facebook friends you will have noticed that is the limit and there is nothing you can do about it. However, with this latest feature people can subscribe to you instead and still gain access to your public news feed updates. haveing facebook subscribers is the future for facebook.

Due to the recent privacy attacks on peoples accounts on facebook, the subscribe button gives users that extra element of protection. They can build a following without actually having to become friends with another person and exposing their private details to them. This is Facebook's attempt at allowing users to build an audience while at the same time censoring what information they wish to display to them.

As well as allowing Facebook users more flexibility with their news feed, it is also going to make the whole Facebook experience a lot more enjoyable. Your news feed will not be cluttered with unwanted updates and spam. Instead Facebook users can now tweak and fine tune exactly what they want to read from their subscription. This makes it a much more efficient experience for the user.

How to Activate your Subscribe Button
In order to have facebook subscribers you need to activate this button. To do so go to http://www.facebook.com/about/subscribe and follow the instruction

The only restriction there is to have this button is you have to be over 18 years of age to activate your Facebook Subscribe Button and thus have facebook subscribers

Facebook Vs Twitter
With the battle to be 'top dog' between Facebook, Twitter and Google ever present, this feature could really affect Twitter. Facebook have over 750 million people in contract to Twitter who currently have 175 million users. With this new feature you don't really need to have a twitter account anymore because Facebook are using the same principle. Celebrities and other large companies can now send out mass messages and status updates to their fans via their Facebook profile instead. Their facebook subscribers will have access to all their public news feeds.

Do we need Facebook Fan Pages Anymore?
This leads me onto my last question; do we still need a Facebook Fan Page?

What do you think of the subscribe button? Is it a smart addition to Facebook, or is it a useless feature? Let us know in the comments.

I think facebook subscribers are the future for facebook
